Tbilisi, Georgia

This will be one of our few late morning departures. We checked out of our hotel at 10:15am and headed to Stansted airport in Essex (about 1.5 hours away) to meet up with a 737-300 charter jet. Unfortunately, our Private Jet has a mechanical issue and will have to join up with us later. Flight time 4 hours, 20 minutes. Our flight path took us over the Czech Republic, Romania and Turkey enroute to Georgia. Upon arrival, we were whisked through customs and onto buses for the 25 minute ride to our hotel. A buffet was waiting for us along with local Georgian wines. We lost 4 hours today with the time change so we have to force ourselves into bed early so we can acclimate to the local time in the morning. Currency is the Lari (GEL) Marriott Tbilisi Hotel (B, L, D daily)
