After breakfast we were chauffeured to Heathrow airport for our flight back to Atlanta. I got held up at the boarding gate for a search! Really? I look like a threatening terrorist?! I finally get on board and can’tfind Jim so I assume he’s in the bathroom. A few minutes after I sit down, the Pilot comes and gets me and takes me to the cockpit where Jim is sitting in the Pilot’s seat! Turns out Jim knows him because he’s a Top Gun pilot (Pete) and has been doing some work at Piedmont. So we got photos of Jim. And he stayed up there with them during the pre-flight check. He was loving his time with the Pilots! Flight: Delta 29 Departed at 12:50, Arrived in Atlanta at 5pm.
